As I have been reading blog entries this am. I have to confess, that I am a CRAPPY BLOGGER. I know, as hard as that is to believe, it is true.
I just wanted to share with everyone, how grateful I am for all our family and friends, and for the love, support, and prayers that each one of you give to us. It has been three years since W.Kay was diagnosed with tonsil cancer, and at his last visit with Dr. Hyde and after getting his CT scan, he is cancer free. We are so grateful for that and that he is feeling so good. He has gained back a little bit of weight - due to his Fatboy diet (ice cream sandwiches) which he is addicted to.
At this wonderful time of year, I pray that we don't lose the real meaning of Christmas in all our hustle, bustle and Christmas shopping.
Now, enough for the sappiness (SP), if this is even a word, and to wishing all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Antelope Hunt 2009
The Antelope hunt opened on Sept 12, 2009. After waiting for 10 years, Wkay finally drew out for an Antelope permit in the west desert.
It took a few days of 4-wheeling and scouting out to finally pick out the one he wanted. This Antelope was killed on Sept 14, 2009 at 8:13in the am. This Antelope is now at the Taxidermist awaiting it's new look.
These Tarantulas were all over the area that they were hunting in. Scary looking !!!

Big Fish Story
While I was in Hawaii, Wkay was having two adventures on his own. The first adventure was in Rock Springs, Wyo. After dropping me off at the airport, Grandpa went to Ryker's birthday party and also went Ice fishing with Chris (our son) and Terrance (our grandson).
The second adventure, was an ice fishing trip to Blue Mesa Reservoir near Gunnison, Co. Wkay went with Jesse (our son) and his friend Drew. The highlight of the trip, other than surviving temps ranging from -9 to 24 degrees, was when Drew caught the big one. A Brown Trout that weighed 7.5 pounds and was 26 inches long. What a catch!!!

Hawaii 2009
I flew to Sacremento on Friday the the 13th to Becky's house and had a very nice visit with her family. Then on Sunday I met up with my sister (Linda) to fly from San Fransico to Hawaii. We spent 7 days in Hawaii on the island of Kauai with Tina and her family. It was very nice to visit with Tina, Danny and the girls. We had a wonderful time. It is so pretty there and the warm weather was so nice after being in the cold Utah winter weather. We went to the Botanical Gardens, Spouting Horn, Waimea Canyon, watching the migrating whales and flew to the Big Island-- Hawaii -- to see the volcanos. That was so amazing.
Happy Birthday Ryker
Fun In The Snow !!!
Christmas of 2008
This year for the week of Christmas we got to enjoy our two grandchildren (Steel & Izzy) along with their mother Laurie and Uncle Jesse. It was a very fun week and also a very snowy one.
Here is Izzy showing off her new sleeping bag. Which unbeknown to her she helped pick out.
